Namibia

Chesterfield if twinned with Tsumeb. Both are mining towns that no longer have mines. nevertheles twinning involves cultural exchanges. Tsumeb has culture coming out of its ears. Chesterfield has some folk dancers and so it was as a Morris Dancer that I went to Namibia. Actually about 20 of us hired 4 4WDs and combined our dancing obligation with a three week tour.

Namibia is all plusses, the climate in our winter is perfect, the animals are abundant and accessible, the food is terrific and there are no mosquitoes.
