Egypt
Meg had always had Egypt high on her list. I was not so fussy. As usual Meg was right. Egypt is a wonderful place to visit You think you know about Egyptian art, I did I had read Gombrich cover to cover but believe me you are not able to appreciate it till you see it. Our guide gave us 10 hectic days then a day off. On our day off we hired taxis to visit the valley of the Nobles and at 9-00Pm were thrown out of the museum because it was closing time.
Add to that the social events and the friendly Egyptian people, the bird life, a fellucca at sunset with someone you love, the unboken sunshine. What are you waiting for? Oh yes you need to read the Uselesstravelguide before you set off.
